About Castle Hill Country Club Bridge Club

Castle Hill Bridge Club

An ideal venue for bridge with floor to ceiling glass walls overlooking a picturesque golf course.

Time & Location

Castle Hill Bridge Club plays weekly on Mondays, excluding public holidays. Start time is 12 noon and visitors are welcome. Players are requested to be seated by 11.45-11.50 ready for a 12.00 start. The usual venue is the Castle Hill Country Club on Spurway Drive, but occasionally, mostly due to major golfing events, bridge sessions must be held elsewhere. Any changes to the normal venue are advised in advance. Because our normal venue is a registered club, members and visitors must meet the entry requirements imposed.

How to get there

Spurway Drive can only be accessed by vehicles travelling northerly along Windsor Road. After passing through the major intersection between Windsor Road and Norwest Boulevarde (lights) continue for about 300 metres and take the first road on the left, Stone Mason Drive. Take care as signposting is not obvious and it is easy to miss. Head westerly along this route and it quickly becomes Spurway Drive. Continue in a westerly direction until you reach the carpark and clubhouse.

Visitors

Visitors are always welcome but do need a partner, unless prior arrangements have been made. Note: During Covid restrictions, CHCC restrict access to CHCC members only.

Partners

Partners (for members and visitors) can sometimes be arranged. Contact: chccbg@gmail.com. Note: this service is temporarily suspended.

Limited Resumption of Bridge

Our venue host, Castle Hill Country Club (CHCC), has permitted limited bridge to resume. We are limited to not more than 50 players/directors playing in a set configuration. Members entering the clubhouse must have their CHCC membership card with them. Entrants must scan in using the NSW Service App. Relevant QR codes are at Reception, in the Pro Shop and at the upstairs bar. Members are also required to scan out when departing the club premises. Non CHCC members must sign in to CHCC in addition to scanning in via the NSW Service App.

Covid Safety Plans

It is implicit in your entry to play bridge that you agree to observe the CHCC Covid Plan and the CHBC Covid Safety Plan. The conditions of the CHBC Covid Safety Plan apply whilst you are present in the bridge designated area. Once you leave the bridge designated area but remain in the CHCC Cubhouse, you are obliged to follow the conditions of the CHCC Covid Plan.
